The Guelph Community Backpack Project ensures that every child from Kindergarten to Grade 12 who needs support receives a brand‑new, fully stocked backpack complete with a lunch bag. In 2026, our goal is to provide 3,300 backpacks, helping to ensure educational equity, dignity, and confidence for thousands of local students. This project is led and supported by Hope House, working in partnership with the Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition, The Salvation Army, the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington, Immigrant Services, The Grove, and the YMCA to distribute backpacks across the community.
