Toilets for a Clinic in Tanzania

The importance of having safe, clean and sanitary toilets for each home is not adopted when clinics do not have the proper facilities to demonstrate. Clinics need to be an example to the community and provide proper facilities for their patients. It is with this that a community-run and fundraised clinic dispensary on Kome Island Tanzania has requested help to build 3 cubicles at their clinic. There will be community involvement in the building (e.g. digging the pit and making bricks) to gain buy-in and responsibility. This construction will help in community awareness of the importance of safe and clean toilets which results in the reduction of diseases.
