National Service Dogs

National Service Dogs (NSD) is a non-profit Registered Charity dedicated to empowering people to achieve their full potential with strategically trained certified service dogs. NSD dogs are trained to assist children with autism, veterans and non-veterans with long-term post-traumatic stress disorder, and individuals with various disabilities. Over their eight to ten year working life, NSD's Certified Service Dogs are valued at $40,000 and Companion Dogs are valued at $10,000; however, each dog is provided to clients free of charge. NSD receives no government funding and relies entirely on funding from the general public, community service clubs, corporate sponsors, community based foundations and fundraising events.
